One might suppose that the Festival of Lights consumes a lot of energy : a few figures to show this isn’t so :
- 4 days of Festival, with a total electricity bill of 3000 €.
- Since 2005, the number of projects has doubled, but not the bill.
- Emphasis is placed on the use of energy and money saving components and materials (in particular using LEDs).
- The operations policy of recycling glass, Les lumignons du cœur (Candles of the heart) , Place Bellecour, the 8th December.
