How to get there, traffic

PEDESTRIAN CITY CENTER

The Presqu’île will be closed to traffic on December 5, 6, 7 and 8, starting at 5 pm, as well as the Abbé Paul-Couturier, Saint-Vincent, Palais de Justice and Collège Passageways (closed on December 8 from 9 am).

Please leave your car in a relay parking lot and use public transportation to move about the city.

TCL CELEBRATES

SYTRAL and its Keolis-Lyon delegate are implementing special arrangements for the Festival of Lights.
The bus, metro and tramway network will be reinforced to facilitate travel during the four festival days.

On Saturday, December 5, public transportation is free, starting at 4 pm, and the metro runs all night long. Certain bus and tramway lines are also running until 1:30 am.

On December 6, 7 and 8, travel from 4 pm until the end of service with the “TCL en Fête” ticket, costing €2.30.

On December 8, extension of network opening: stations close at 1 am. The tramway and certain bus lines continue service until around 1:30 am to ensure connections.

TGV

Travel using TGV 100% Prem’s for the Festival of Lights!

From December 4 to 8, the SNCF reinforces train service and will add supplementary TGVs for Lyon.

During the four festival days, the SNCF offers numerous specially chartered TGV 100% Prem’s: from Paris, from Lyon and from all large French cities.
